Time Magazine Writes about Sovereign Grace’s Child Sex Abuse Issues, Yet C.J. Mahaney is Still Scheduled to Speak at T4G; Eagle asks Why?

A quick post about Time magazine writing about Sovereign Grace’s child sex abuse problems. This is on the heels of the Washingtonian article. Eagle has this simple question with all these issues hemorrhaging out of Sovereign Grace…why is C.J. Mahaney speaking at T4G? Does the man have any shame?

This is going to be a brief post. I still have one I am working on for tomorrow, after all tomorrow is the one year anniversary of this blog 🙂 . After Volleyball tonight I noticed that Time magazine did a write up of Sovereign Grace’s child sex abuse issues. I wanted to blast the issue over the internet. You can read that Time magazine article here, and also as a side note here is the Washingtonian article about Sovereign Grace. Now if you are of the reformed persuasion I would think you would have to consider the fact that the secular press is being used by the Lord to highlight the problems inside Sovereign Grace. Yet despite the problems, despite the issues, despite that more and more people are learning about C.J. Mahaney’s ministry (whoops I mean family business). Despite that C.J. Mahaney is still scheduled to speak at T4G. The Eagle wants to know why? Its my hope that the people hurt will have justice and that C.J Mahaney is bumped from the line up this year. If you are going to talk about the Biblical role of man, then act like it and take responsibility. C.J. Mahaney you need to repent for your leadership of Sovereign Grace.
