An Open Letter to Steve Highfill (Can we Agree that a Pastor who Allegedly has Been Involved in a Cover-up of Deviant Sexual Scandal Should not be Speaking at The Bridge Fresno?)

An open letter to EFCA West District Superintendent Steve Highfill. This post is about Bryan Loritts scheduled to speak at Andrew Smith’s The Bridge Fresno. EFCA West needs to be aware of what occurred in Acts 29 Fellowship Memphis. Bryan Loritts should not be speaking, he needs to go back to Memphis, Tennessee and own his mistakes and role in the alleged cover-up.  Continue reading

An Open Letter to Jeff Loven (The Bridge Fresno Pastor on Bryan Loritts Scheduled to Speak on July 8, 2018)

An open letter to Jeff Loven of The Bridge Fresno. Jeff is the creative arts pastor at The Bridge. Today’s open letter is a follow up to my question I posed yesterday. Why is Bryan Loritts scheduled to speak at The Bridge Fresno. I hope The Bridge Fresno will do the right thing and cancel Bryan and tell him that he needs to repent and go back to Memphis and own what he has allegedly done.   Continue reading

An Open Letter to Melody Hensley (Former Washington, D.C. Executive Director of Center for Inquiry on the Alleged Sexual Misconduct by Lawrence Krauss)

An open letter to Melody Hensley, the former Executive Director of the Washington, D.C. Center for Inquiry. Melody gave an interview to BuzzFeed in which she reported about the alleged sexual misconduct by atheist celebrity Lawrence Krauss. As the atheist movement is dealing with misogyny The Wondering Eagle wants to commend Melody for her bravery and wants to let her know that it stands firmly in her corner.  Continue reading

An Open Letter to Ryan Kwon (Acts 29 Pastor at Resonate Regarding Comments Made in a Gospel Coalition Article)

This is an open letter to Acts 29 pastor Ryan Kwon. This is a response to what Ryan says in an article in The Gospel Coalition about the demise of Mars Hill and Acts 29 eventually thriving. Why does Ryan and Acts 29 at the time give the benefit of the doubt to Mark Driscoll when many people under him had that denied? Ryan also had a flawed view of Acts 29 being healthy. And Ryan seems to believe that an organization growing is a sign of God blessing it. I wonder if he thinks the same thing of Mormonism, Scientology or Islam?  Continue reading

Open Letter to Bryan Laughlin (When is the Senior Pastor of Remnant Deploying to Afghanistan?)

This is a brief open letter to Senior Pastor Bryan Laughlin of Remnant. Since Remnant opposes military chaplaincy, The Wondering Eagle would like to ask Bryan, when you deploying to Afghanistan bro? When are you going to support your church members when they are deployed by the Marine Corps or the Army? After your deployment you can then enroll in Virginia Union University.  Continue reading

An Open Letter to Don Coleman (Lead Pastor of East End Fellowship in Richmond on Giving People a Refuge Who are Allegedly Abused by Remnant)

An open letter to the pastor of East End Fellowship Don Coleman about what I appreciate from his church. Richmond has a problem on its hands in the form of Bryan Laughlin’s Remnant Church. East End is taking refugees from Acts 29. Its my hope that Don Coleman will continue to serve those who show up broken, crushed and theologically battered.  Continue reading

An Open Letter to an Unknown Female Formerly of Remnant Church (On Wanting to be a Police Officer for the City of Richmond)

An open letter to a former member of Acts 29 Remnant Church in Richmond, Virginia. This covenant member had planned to become a police officer for the city and Remnant allegedly intervened and told her that she could not do that. As a woman being a police officer was off limits. This is an open letter to that unknown female asking a lot of questions and my hope is that she is serving the city of Richmond today in law enforcement.  Continue reading
