This is an open letter to Neal Brower who leads the Western District of the EFCA. This blog would like to ask him, why can’t he take spiritual abuse in the Acts 29 network seriously? An Open Letter to Eddie Cole (Transitioning Eastern District Superintendent of the EFCA and Wishing Him Well)

The leadership of the EFCA’s Eastern District is changing. As Eddie Cole prepares to move to Minneapolis with his wife Jessica this is an open letter to the EFCA leader. I just want to not only wish him well but reflect on Eddie based off personal interactions and what others have shared with me. The Eastern District’s loss is Minneapolis’ gain. A Fourth Open Letter to Jordan Kauflin (On Redeemer Arlington Using Mark Driscoll)

This is an open letter to Jordan Kauflin at Redeemer Arlington. This letter is about Redeemer once using Mark Driscoll in their church. Driscoll, despite the red flags and concerns, was deeply popular with the Neo-Calvinist movement. And that included churches like Redeemer Arlington. This post asks why did Jordan Kauflin and Eric Simmons use Driscoll? Was it worth it especially in light of how he turned out? You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to understand that he was a corrupt and misguided individual who should not be in a position of authority and teaching. What does it say about doctrine when people like Redeemer use questionable individuals?  Continue reading

An Open Letter to Brian Habeth of Wooded Hills (How Did that Rapture Work Out for You After Iraqi Freedom?)

Brian Habeth from Wooded Hills had a birthday the other day. In addition he also recently sent me a message warning me about my soul. This is an open letter that is a response to Brian and Wooded Hills. When I think of the extreme charismatic theology and Christian nationalism that takes place at Wooded Hills, if that is what being a Christian is like, well then Hell will be like Heaven for me.  Continue reading

#Youngerself. What Advice Would I Give Myself at 25?

If you stay away you will spare yourself a lot of pain and trauma. This is what l would say to myself if l could. Continue reading
