This is a discernment exercise from an EFCA church in Dallas, Oregon. It deals with a church announcement on peacemaking. What is your take on this move by Faith Church? Is this healthy and would you get involved/ Or would you push back or decide not to get involved? Continue reading
Harvest Bible Chapel announced that James MacDonald is taking a sabbatical and will work to reconcile with people. This blog has its doubts given MacDonald’s behavior. After all James MacDonald had 20 years to do the right thing, and he refused. After all who desires to resolve problems by firing off a lawsuit against a journalist and The Elephant’s Debt? Any kind of sincere repentance has to include people like RT Maldaner, Dan Haskell, and others who were hurt in the Paxton Singer situation. This blog believes that John Secrest from Harvest Naples is in James MacDonald’s sight and that he is going to be abused by the Harvest machine.

I would like to bring on a diverse set of people in time who would have freedom to publish what is on their mind. If you are interested please drop me a note and let’s figure out a way forward. Today I am unveiling the analysis of the third district in the Evangelical Free Church of America. The Northern Plains District (NPD) covers North Dakota, northern South Dakota, NW Minnesota and Eastern Montana. This is the first of two posts and looks at Dr. Daryl Thompson the District Superintendent. Other issues deal with NPD promoting Peacemakers which is complicit in the Sovereign Grace scandal and corruption, and other concerns, plus a shout out to Scott Sheets of Riverside Community Church for his excellent blog post on pain and suffering.
