An Open Letter to Josh Black (Senior Pastor of First Free Wichita) and a Response to His Narcissistic Dress Down

After getting a dress down on Sunday morning at First Free Wichita, this is the response to Josh Black the senior pastor. This blog is staying for the long term and will be writing more about First Free Wichita. Continue reading

Ongoing Cult Like Behavior at Acts 29

A troubling story emerges from an undisclosed Acts 29 church in an urban Midwestern US city. When Denise got involved after dealing with a stalker the church acted very authoritarian even forcing her into a hospital. The Acts 29 church was so controlling that it prevented her from spending Thanksgiving with her family. Elder issues from an unnamed elder also became a factor as well. Some of the issues here are similar to what is happening in other Acts 29 churches in the United States. Continue reading

In response, while employing a slight degree of sarcasm I also write an open letter to a new Christian. The joy that is coming when it comes to evangelicalism. In that sense its time to prepare the youth and those coming onboard for the coming burn out tomorrow.  Continue reading

In Order to Understand Evangelical Culture One Should Cease Reading their Bible and Read George Orwell Instead

In order to understand evangelical Christian culture one should read, study and pay attention to the themes from George Orwell in his classic novels. The themes of corruption, totalitarianism, censorship, blind loyalty, and more are used to paint warning to society.
