An Open Letter to Steve Highfill (Can we Agree that a Pastor who Allegedly has Been Involved in a Cover-up of Deviant Sexual Scandal Should not be Speaking at The Bridge Fresno?)

An open letter to EFCA West District Superintendent Steve Highfill. This post is about Bryan Loritts scheduled to speak at Andrew Smith’s The Bridge Fresno. EFCA West needs to be aware of what occurred in Acts 29 Fellowship Memphis. Bryan Loritts should not be speaking, he needs to go back to Memphis, Tennessee and own his mistakes and role in the alleged cover-up.  Continue reading

An Open Letter to Jeff Loven (The Bridge Fresno Pastor on Bryan Loritts Scheduled to Speak on July 8, 2018)

An open letter to Jeff Loven of The Bridge Fresno. Jeff is the creative arts pastor at The Bridge. Today’s open letter is a follow up to my question I posed yesterday. Why is Bryan Loritts scheduled to speak at The Bridge Fresno. I hope The Bridge Fresno will do the right thing and cancel Bryan and tell him that he needs to repent and go back to Memphis and own what he has allegedly done.   Continue reading

Why is Bryan Loritts Speaking at The Bridge Fresno on July 8, 2018? Is Andrew Smith Aware of the Dark and Deviant Scandal that Took Place at Acts 29 Fellowship Memphis?

My former EFCA Church in Fresno, California is having Bryan Loritts speak on July 8, 2018. Is The Bridge Fresno aware of the scandal, of voyeurism and alleged child pornography that was manufactured at Acts 29 Fellowship Memphis? Bryan Loritts was one of the pastors who oversaw the alleged cover-up. This is a post to my old church telling them they need to cancel Bryan Loritts. You don’t place a wolf before the congregation.  Continue reading

T4G Opens in Louisville, Garrett Kell on Photobombing Jesus, and how T4G Turned an EFCA Pastor Away from the Celebrity Pastor and Neo-Calvinist Movement

T4G for 2018 kicks off in Louisville, Kentucky. This article reviews T4G for 2018 and some of the panels and sessions. Plus on the eve of T4G Garrett Kell promoted an older article  that he wrote about how Jesus should not be photobombed. While I believe the pastor from Del Rey Baptist means well, the challenges from the SGM scandal have hung over T4G for some time. Plus I also write about a personal conversation I had with an EFCA pastor who attended T4G. The experience ultimately turned him off to Neo-Calvinism and the celebrity pastor movement.  Continue reading

From Remnant Church in Richmond to Fellowship Memphis in Tennessee, Does Acts 29 Exploit African-Americans in the Name of Racial Reconciliation?

The Wondering Eagle would like to ask the question. Is the Acts 29 network exploiting racial reconciliation as they do church plants? From Bryan Laughlin’s Remnant Church to John Bryson’s Fellowship Memphis I believe yes, Acts 29 is exploiting racial reconciliation. In cities that have struggled with their past, Acts 29 only functions like a leach in profiting off the situation. They use racial reconciliation to launch a plant and profit off the pain of a community.  Continue reading

Why is The Village Church Promoting Bryan Loritts’s Material? Does Matt Chandler Take Allegations of Sex Crimes at Fellowship Memphis Seriously?

The Village Church which is led by Matt Chandler is promoting Bryan Loritts material on the church’s website. Bryan Loritts was a teaching pastor at Fellowship Memphis, in which a dark scandal took place in which I believe child pornography was allegedly manufactured. Does Matt Chandler get that child pornography is illegal and a crime? Especially in light of the Jordan Root scandal which took place at The Village Church in 2015? Why would one church that dealt with this issue promote material from a pastor that was allegedly involved in the cover up at another church?  Continue reading

An Open Letter to Kenji Adachi (Senior Pastor of Acts 29 All Peoples Community Church in Fairfax, Virginia on my Concerns about your Fellowship Memphis Training and Other Issues)

This is an open letter to Kenji Adachi of All Peoples Community Church in Fairfax, Virginia. This looks at an Acts 29 church that was planted with help by Fellowship Memphis. Fellowship Memphis had a deeply disturbing scandal that allegedly involved voyeurism and child pornography. Where does Kenji stand on the situation? This also looks at other issues and his authoritarian behavior on Twitter. The Wondering Eagle will be writing a lot about this church in the course of time.  Continue reading
