Against the wishes of homeless advocates, churches, and city authorities the Bethel worship leader plans to hold COVID-19 superspreader events. Recalling When Beni Johnson Highlighted a Character From Frozen When She Believed That God Would Raise Olive From the Dead

In late 2019 Bethel in Redding California was all anticipation. The church believed that a two year old would raise from the dead. At one of the prayer/worship services balloons from the Disney movie Frozen were arranged on the stage. It appeared that Bethel planned to give these balloons to a young child after she rose form the dead in the Shasta County morgue. Charismatic Christians have tried to raise people from the death in their history. Bethel in Redding, California made national news in December of 2019 for trying to resurrect Olive Heiligenthal . Russell Moore on Protecting the Elderly in the COVID-19 Pandemic. Reflecting on an Older New York Times Op-Ed in Light of the Growing Coronavirus Situation in Texas

Back in March some of the Christian nationalists were arguing that it was okay to sacrifice the elderly for the sake of the economy. During the COVID-19 pandemic Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick said that it was time for the elderly to be sacrificed. That they should die for the sake of their grandchildren. Against that train of thought Russell Moore of the Southern Baptist’s Ethic’s and Religious Liberty Commission responded in a New York Times op-ed. Today, over three months later the United States is watching a growing disaster take place in Texas with a soaring COVID-19 infection starting to overwhelm the system.
