This is the annual review of the Cru Winter Conferences for 2018 and 2019. This looks at all the speakers, and agenda. It appears as if the conferences have improved. There doesn’t appear to be as much of a Neo-Calvinist agenda, and the celebrity pastor appears to be absent. The Wondering Eagle is pleasantly surprised as to how the Winter Conferences are this year.

Writing About an Email Exchange with Anne Marie Miller in December of 2015 When Reviewing Cru’s (Formerly Campus Crusade for Christ) Christmas Conferences.
The Wondering Eagle had an email exchange with Anne Marie Miller in December of 2015. It came about because this blog annually reviews and writes about Cru’s Christmas Conferences. In an email exchange she discussed being the victim of a sexual assault. Between then and now Anne Marie Miller decided to go forward and make the report against Mark Aderholt. Continue reading
Anne Marie Miller’s Alleged Sexual Abuse by Mark Aderholt, and Did the Southern Baptist’s International Missions Board Cover it Up? Plus David Platt’s Response
A disturbing scandal comes out of the Southern Baptist Convention’s International Missions Board (IMB). Its the story of Anne Marie Miller and Mark Aderholt. Aderholt was a student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary who groomed and sexually abused Anne, Anne in time realized the severity of the situation and the IMB was notified. Cru Winter Conference Review 2016-2017: David Platt, Matt Smethurst, Jackson Crum and J.D. Greear are Some of the Main Speakers
The Wondering Eagle reviews the Cru Winter and Christmas Conferences for 2016 and 2017. This is a review of all the speakers and agendas. This blog recommends Greensboro, Dallas, Portland and Los Angeles. This blog does not recommend Denver, Baltimore and Indianapolis. As of December 18, Minneapolis is supported, if Paul Tripp is still scheduled to speak then The Wondering Eagle will pull support for TCX. I am growing deeply concerned about a fundamentalist Neo-Calvinist agenda growing in Cru which gives this writer deep pause about this organization. Continue reading
An Open Letter to Cru Staff (Regarding the Criminal Allegations from Bryan Loritts Fellowship Memphis)
This is an open letter to Cru staff in the United States who work for Cru which was formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ. This letter is regarding one of their well known speakers and the incredibly serious allegations of the cover up of voyeurism, and the alleged destruction of child pornography in Bryan Loritts Fellowship Memphis. The negligence of the Fellowship Memphis leadership led to a large number of victims (conservative estimate I would say 1,500 over a three year period) at Downtown Church in Memphis. Continue reading
A Comprehensive Overview of Cru’s Winter Conferences for December 2015/January 2016 … Paul Tripp, Curtis Allen, Kenji Adachi and Scott Nickell are Some of the Speakers
An exhaustive overview of Cru’s (formerly Campus Crusade) Christmas/Winter Conferences in December 2015 and January 2016. This reviews each Cru conference in detail. While Eagle recommends several Cru conferences in good conscious he cannot recommend Washington, D.C. (Radiate), Denver or Minneapolis (TCX) this year. This also explains why Cru needs to learn how to practice and teach discernment. Continue reading
