This Blog Is Going to Continue Writing About the Bryan Loritts Scandal and Fellowship Memphis. And it Will Remain a Tenacious Bulldog

This blog is going to continue to write about Bryan Loritts and the Fellowship Memphis scandal. For the Loritts family faith is a business and Bryan is also a conman. When it comes to Bryan Loritts this blog wants you to think of Jim Bakker of PTL. This blog will continue to write about the issues with the Loritts family, even with the rubber stamp from J.D. Greear that attempted to white wash Loritts behavior at Fellowship Memphis.

“Lying is a cooperative act. Think about it. A lie has no power whatsoever by its mere utterance. Its power emerges when someone else agrees to believe the lie.

Pamela Meyer

Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. 24 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.

Luke 9:23-24 NIV

Bryan Loritts

Dogs doing their thing!

There was a time in my life when I was very naïve about faith and religion. There was a time in my life I went to retreats, conferences, church events, men’s events and more and I soaked it in. I was the guy eagerly taking notes in the pew and buying the tapes, CD’s or books. I was the guy willing to fly across country to attend events and encourage other people to go as well. In the case of Bryan Loritts I used to listen to him preach in Campus Crusade for Christ. I heard him preach in both San Diego and Minneapolis. It was in Minneapolis in a dark ballroom in either 2001 or 2002 I heard him eagerly talk about the upcoming Fellowship Memphis church plant. Bryan spoke as how he could reach Memphis as a black man and bring the Gospel to the city where Martin Luther King was assassinated. He asked us in Crusade to pray for his church plant, and as a naïve fool I did a couple of times. After his talk he hung out in the lobby of the Minneapolis Hilton and spoke with college and grad students. I shook his hand and spoke to him for a few minutes. He was all smiles and laughs as was I. You don’t need to explain Bryan Loritts to me. I would say that he is perhaps one of the most gifted orators that I have ever heard. And I looked up to him. Again I was naïve. I was young and I was a fool.  If you want to see how my view of Bryan Loritts changed I would direct you to the following post called,Of all the Scandals Written About at The Wondering Eagle, Bryan Loritts is the Most Disturbing. Here’s Why.”

I was conned by Bryan Loritts once in my life and I will not be conned a second time.

Bryan is Very Manipulative and Dishonest

Bryan Loritts is a very sly individual. He’s slick and he can pull a fast one on people. You have to get behind the celebrity Christian façade to see his narcissistic self. When it comes to Bryan Loritts there is me, myself and I. And that is it. Bryan’s ego is so large that it often does not have room for anyone else. Bryan Loritts exists and lives to serve one person and that is himself. Its not complicated he’s a narcissist. He’ll lie, cheat, and cut corners to get ahead. That is what faith is for Bryan. You won’t get someone who is honest, passionate and who cares. As a narcissist he needs supply. He has a contorted view of himself and ego is fragile. To reach his goal he will throw anyone under the bus. This is who Bryan Loritts is as a person.

This is a Business for Him Nothing More

For the Loritts family faith is a business. S Truett Cathy started Chic Fil-A. Dave Thomas founded Wendys. Richard and Maurice McDonald founded the first McDoanlds. And Bryan Loritts started church plants or taken on other churches. There’s no difference in the men I listed above except that Dave Thomas and the McDonalds had far more integrity and character than Bryan Lorits. They were at least honest about their business ventures whereas Bryan Loritts hides behind a Bible and his faith. Bryan manipulates emotions and that Bible he uses is a prop for an act. He hawks it in a cheap and sleazy manner, leaving hubris and ruined lives in his wake. Can he do the right thing? No. As a narcissist he’s incapable of doing the right thing. The rules don’t apply to him.

Bryan Loritts is Really No Different Than Jim Bakker of PTL Ministries

When you think of Bryan Loritts this blog wants you to think of Jim Bakker. Think of a conman or a fraud who has the rubber stamp of J.D. Greear. Bryan Loritts seeks to advance himself and whores the public spotlight. He needs the stage. He needs the attention. he needs to have people fawning at his feet. He can’t say no. He’s like Jim Bakker except he’s not hawking rapture survival kits today. He runs from his problems and can’t face them at all. That is the modus opernadi. Bryan Loritts is slicker than Jim Bakker but he is equally dishonest and still being dogged by scandal. Don’t expect much from Bryan Loritts instead think of Jim Bakker and you can understand Loritts much better.

This Blog is Going to Be Writing About Bryan Loritts for the Long Term

Never in my wildest imagination did I ever foresee writing a blog like this one. But as evangelicalism has no accountability and no checks and balances that makes this blog all the more important. The founder of Scientology L Ron Hubbard once said that if you want to make a million dollars you start your own religion. Bryan Loritts is about making money and in the process he prostitutes his faith. He publishes books for the money. Does speaker engagements for the money. Bryan Loritts motivating factor in life is not the god he claims, instead its about making money. Bryan Loritts is a fraud. The writer of this blog is a fact driven individual. I detest conspiracy theories like hell, and my main sources of information are newspaper likes the Washington Post, NY Times and Los Angeles Times. I am very much a vanilla kind of guy and if there was nothing to Bryan Loritts I would have moved on. But that is not the case. This blog is not fooled by Bryan Loritts or the Loritts family. As such this blog will continue to write about the Loritts family issues. As I said above I was conned once by Bryan in my life. That won’t happen a second time. Since Bryan won’t be the man he taught me this blogger will be the man he can’t be who will still call him out and write about his conduct.
