Over at 9 Marks Jonathan Leeman addresses the issue of church and state separation. It is refreshing and different. The video is not long but it helps to show how the Neo-Calvinists are much different on politics and the culture wars.
“One who deceives will always find those who allow themselves to be deceived.“
So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, 2 complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.
Philippians 2:1-2 ESV
At 9 Marks the other day they published a video from Jonathan Leeman where he discusses the issue of the separation of a church and state. You can see the original post in, “What’s the “Separation of Church and State”? In the video Leeman claims the issue is very misunderstood by Christians. Stop and listen to it, its only five minutes long. And while you are listening to Leeman explain his view of church and state, stop and reflect on how many Neo-Calvinists approach politics. Its vastly different and is more intellectual and refreshing in many ways. Even if you disagree, you can see the logic behind what Jonathan Leeman is saying.
