How the EFCA’s Restored Uptown in San Diego, California Are Helping Those in Their Congregation in Need During the COVID-19 Pandemic

This brief post looks at the the EFCA’s Restored Uptown is helping people in the congregation who have needs brought about due to the economic issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is encouraging to see a church helping in this way.

This blog is writing about both he EFCA and the COVID-19 pandemic. I saw something neat and I wanted to preserve it. It the effort by the EFCA’s Restored Uptown. This is a church attempting to help those who need toilet paper and who are adversely affected by the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. I wanted to add this to the blog. This actually is pretty neat when you think about it.

Hi Restored Family!

We’re in the midst of unprecedented times for our church, city, and world. As we all adjust to a new normal with social distancing and isolation, we are aware that many in our community may be struggling in different ways.

Last Sunday, Andy reminded us of Acts 2:42-47, which tells of the early church meeting the needs of those in their community. Right now, we have a unique opportunity to be the church and meet each other’s needs!

If you have a physical need related to the COVID-19 situation (i.e. help paying a bill, food items, toilet paper, prayer, whatever it may be) or if you have an abundance of something that you’d like to share with someone in need, we want to make it easier to connect with each other!

Click on one (or both) of the links below and fill out a form with as much detail as possible. As a church, we’ll do our best to meet the needs that arise.

Much Love,
