How McLean Bible is Evangelizing During the COVID-19 Pandemic and Helping People with Scarce Supplies

McLean Bible has rolled out an evangelism campaign during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the process the Southern Baptist mega church is also offering needed essentials and supplies to people who need it. This blog which is often critical and raises questions is impressed with that effort.

“Be true to yourself, help others, make each day your masterpiece, make friendship a fine art, drink deeply from good books – especially the Bible, build a shelter against a rainy day, give thanks for your blessings and pray for guidance every day.”

John Wooden

Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin. 2 As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God.

McLean Bible is rolling out an evangelism campaign during the COVID-19 pandemic. This campaign is aimed at telling people that they can watch McLean’s online services. What is also unique is that the church appears to be offering supplies that are hard to obtain in grocery stores these days. I have run into challenges a few times with getting groceries. So to see an effort to provide food and essential hygiene products is impressive. This blog will remain critical and analyze churches and their culture. But if McLean can distribute items like milk, hand sanitizer, and toilet paper that will be impressive. You can see the flyer that is being left on people’s doors below.

This blog is impressed that McLean Bible is helping people with groceries and supplies during a pandemic. I will be critical when appropriate but I also believe in pointing out something notable and encouraging. That effort is respectful especially with the chaos going on right now.
