Mark Driscoll explains his plans to preach during the COVID-19 pandemic at The Trinity Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. It appears as if Driscoll is using the medical crisis to expand his social media presence and his outreach. His presence on social media is expanding considerably.
“Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something.”
As a dog returns to its vomit, so fools repeat their folly.
Proverbs 26:11 NIV
The other day Mark Driscoll explained that the Trinity Church in Scottsdale, Arizona is going online. Streaming has been greatly expanded through Mark Driscoll’s website, The Trinity Church, Facebook, YouTube, iTunes, Spotify, etc… It appears as if Mark Driscoll is taking advantage of the COVID-19 situation to expand his online presence. You can listen to Mark Driscoll speak about it in the online video up above. The last I heard they didn’t have all those outlets. Sp it seems that they have stepped it up quit a bit. As always if there are people in Arizona who want to tell their stories about Mark Driscoll you can do so through The Wondering Eagle.
With the CDC recommendations on Sunday that all gatherings over 50 are banned for the near future, our ministry is increasing and temporarily moving online. Each week, Pastor Mark will be sending out a weekly video update in our newsletter.
We will also continue to meet together digitally with our Sunday services at normal times of 9&11 (PT) and Real Men on Wednesday evenings (just after 6:30 pm PT). We invite and encourage you to watch the sermon with family and/or friends, snap a pic, and post it online. Tag us so we can say hi and pray for any specific needs your group may have.
Most every day, Pastor Mark and Grace will be answering practical questions that we will post on social media to help coach and counsel people through this difficult season. If you have a question you’d like answered, send it to email@example.com.
If we are not able to open the building on Good Friday and Easter, Pastor Mark will still preach and we will have church online and meet together digitally. Once we can reopen and rejoin together as a church family, we will throw a big Easter party and start the book of Romans as our next sermon series.
We look forward to seeing you at church hopefully soon. Things are changing quickly, so we will keep you informed and would love for you to keep us informed on how you’re doing and how we can pray for you. If there are any questions we can answer for you about The Trinity Church in this season, send them to firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us via social media.
