An Open Letter to Kathy MacDonald (You Have Such a Difficult Life Kathy…)

Kathy MacDonald recently went to Disney World again. This is a brief open letter to Kathy MacDonald about her difficult life and spending habits. Another winner in this Harvest financial mess is the State of Florida who took in the money the MacDonalds spent.

Kathy MacDonald at Disney World

Is Kathy MacDonald’s view of money similar to Peggy Bundy’s from Married with Children?

Dear Kathy-

This is going to be a brief letter but its something I need to say. I saw you went to Disney World recently. Life must be so hard for you. I mean if I learned that my spouse would want to plant child pornography then I would also need a vacation to. Or some hard alcohol to process that information. Your trip to Disney World was also timely especially in light of the Harvest Bible Chapel audit report. Kathy, how much money did you take from Harvest over the years? How much money from Harvest was used to support your shopping trips to Target and elsewhere? This blog has heard quite a bit about your shopping habits. And as people were canceling vacations, or giving up  a new car they gave sacrificially to Harvest. How much of that money ended up being used by you? Do you have any shame in your behavior or your husbands? Some people from Harvest have told me that your marriage to James is likely a business one. You get what you need – money, trips and more and that is how it functions. I just wonder how you could be indifferent in light of all the abuse, fraud and waste. In the end people gave to events like 5G so that you could go to Florida. The State of Florida is the winner in these giving schemes at Harvest.

Well this is going to be brief but don’t work too hard when you shop. Its tough work to go through clothing racks and more. Poor thing that must be mentally draining for you. Its hard spending other people’s money isn’t it? Well hopefully you can take a break and think about all this as time goes on. I’ll be writing about you more in the near future Kathy.

Very Respectfully,

David Bonner

  1. I thought I read somewhere that Kathy was on the payroll as say working in the bookstore and being pai almost 6 figures a year. Have you heard that? If so many full time pastors don’t even make that.
