The Accidental Atheist as Told on The Good Men Project

This is a story that I read on The Good Men Project where a man wrote about his journey into atheism. This story has a lot to add and this blog would like to add it to the other stories about atheism this blog is collecting.

“When I was a kid I had an imaginary friend and I used to think that he went everywhere with me, and that I could talk to him and that he could hear me, and that he could grant me wishes and stuff. And then I grew up, and I stopped going to church.”

Jimmy Carr

“When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.”

Stephen Roberts

The other day there was an interesting article about atheism that I wanted to add to this blog. I found it offering more to the discussion on atheism. After all is it possible that some people know or stumble into atheism as they live their life? This is a story of how one man became an atheist and how they accepted that faulty of God in their unique way in seeing the parallels between modern religion and Greek mythology. You can read Christopher White’s story in, “An Accidental Atheist.”
