The Next Few Days…in York, Pennsylvania for the Largest Model Train Show in the United States

For the next several days I am going to be in Pennsylvania at the largest model train show in the United States. This is a post about that show and I will be working on some more posts on my down time.

“I like trains. I like their rhythm, and I like the freedom of being suspended between two places, all anxieties of purpose taken care of; for this moment I know where I am going.”

I am going to be away from the blog for the next several days. Two times a year in York, Pennsylvania they hold the largest model trains show by the Train Collectors Association. So I am going to be visiting and running some of my model trains. I am a train nerd. I have loved trains since I was a kid. The railroads that I am most interested in are Northern Pacific, Milwaukee Road, Great Northern, Burlington Northern, Montana Rail Link, Santa Fe and Southern Pacific. So a couple of the models you see here will be ran at York.

Santa Fe 2900 Northern. This is being restored in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

I am working on a couple of other posts but I have not completed them. It took a little longer to transfer some pictures of New York City but I thought people would enjoy those for a change. I will work on some more posts during some down time especially as I research and write about religion. In the meantime you can enjoy some of these pictures and videos. I’ll see you again in a few days.
