An Open Letter to Mancow Muller (Regarding Abuse and Misconduct in Harvest Bible Chapel)

A brief open letter to Mancow Muller expressing gratitude for him stepping up to the plate and addressing the James MacDonald issue. By continuing to drag out the issues he is helping Harvest Bible Chapel as well as Chicago. This blog is proud of him.

18 Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.

1 John 4:18 NLT

Dear Mancow-

I have been meaning to do this letter to you for sometime. Today is that day I can finally sit down and compose it. I hope you find this letter encouraging and that it encourages you to keep doing what you are doing in regards to Harvest Bible Chapel. First let me state that I am proud of you for coming around like you did in regards to James MacDonald. It takes courage to come around like that and come out against someone you considered a friend. Its easy to stand up to your enemies but its hard to stand up to your friends. But after you did so you realized how corrupt James MacDonald ultimately is. You realized that he is not the person you thought he was. When humans are presented with difficult news its hard for some to face it. You did and what you did is commendable.

You also talked about spiritual abuse and what you endured. I too have been through a lot and find church to be exceptionally painful. I wrote about my past with spiritual abuse which you can read in, “Unless You Experience Spiritual Abuse Then You Won’t Understand How Painful it is.” So I am sorry and wish there was a way to prevent what happened to you. I channel my pain into writing about these issues like Harvest Bible Chapel. That is how I deal with the psychological abuse.

In writing about Harvest Bible Chapel I am aware of the issues and problems having drilled down into the organization. There is a lot of disturbing stuff that still needs to come out. That includes the cover up with Paxton Singer and the sexual harassment and misconduct that exists. This blog is asking you to use the nuclear option so that the problems that exist will not occur again. James MacDonald as well as Luke and Landon MacDonald should not be involved in running a church again. To have the MacDonald family in ministry is kind of like having Milwaukee serial killer and cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer having a cooking show on the food network. It just is poor taste. (Pun intended!) I ma asking you to continue to drag out all the stuff. There is a lot there that needs to come and I think you are the person to do it. Earlier on you blocked me on Twitter, but I honestly don’t care about that. I am grateful you came full circle and doing what you are doing. I was cynical at first but now i am wrong. Anyhow I am grateful for what you are doing and ask you to stick with it to the end. I will gladly have your back in this mess.

One last point and then I am done. Please consider a class action lawsuit against Harvest Bible Chapel, Capin Crouse and ECFA. The on;y way these kind of church scams will stop is through litigation. It’s time. You can read more about that in, “Why Mancow Muller Should Consider a Class Action Lawsuit Against Harvest Bible Chapel to Open up the Black Budget. Plus Why Capin Crouse and ECFA Should be Included

Deeply proud of you bro. Keep up the good work.

Very Respectfully,

David Bonner
