The Friendly Atheist’s New Year Resolution, and The Wondering Eagle’s Warm Happy New Year to Hemant Mehta!

Hemant Mehta who blogs as The Friendly Atheist did a video in which he explained his New Years Resolution for 2018. The Wondering Eagle agrees and wishes a warm Happy New Year to the Friendly Atheist!

“Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let every new year find you a better man.”

Benjamin Franklin

Sunset over Kansas!

Hemant Mehta’ blogs as The Friendly Atheist. The first video he did for 2018 wished people Happy New Year. In it, Hemant explains that his New Years Resolution is that people will spread reason and think critically. Hemant Mehta’s wisdom is good and needed deeply today. Reason and critical thinking skills are so desperately needed. How many people today need to think critically? How many people can be encouraged to think differently, or be encouraged to challenge their thought process. The Wondering Eagle takes Hemant’s New Year Resolution for 2018 to heart. Since I started writing in 2015 I have been trying to get people to think for themselves and think differently. After all consider this post I wrote last year, “I Want You to Think For Yourself, to Challenge What You Hear; and to Learn to be Skeptical.” I have been engaging people all across the board as I think there is a lot that can be learned by leaning out of your pasture and wondering into another. So with that said, The Wondering Eagle in return wishes Hemant Mehta and all the atheists, secular humanists and more out there on the internet a Happy New Year! Keep plugging away and keep being skeptical. There is so much the world can learn from many secular humanists and atheists. This is going to be a brief post, but I saw this yesterday and wanted to get it up. Take care everyone and know that you are cared for.
