Evangelicals and Art: Wonderful Town

Wonderful Town is a story of two young females who leave Ohio and travel to New York where they find themselves. The music is by Leonard Bernstein and Betty Comden and Adolph Green wrote the lyrics. It came out in 1953 and has had several revivals over time. This work is not as popular as Bernstein’s West Side Story or On the Town. Best song from it is called Ohio, also It’s Love.
