The Wondering Eagle can Post Stories and Opinions by Members/Attenders of McLean Bible During the Current Theological Coup that is Forcing Lon Solomon Out

This is a quick post directed at members and attenders of McLean Bible. As Lon Solomon is being forced out in a theological hijacking members are free to write posts and express their contempt, anger or concerns about the situation with David Platt. They can write posts anonymously.  As McLean Bible is guiding and steering this process think of The Wondering Eagle as the Voice of America to those inside trying to learn what is going on.

“Before the military coup in Chile, we had the idea that military coups happen in Banana Republics, somewhere in Central America. It would never happen in Chile. Chile was such a solid democracy. And when it happened, it had brutal characteristics.”

Isobel Allende

“Most of wars or military coups or invasions are done in the name of democracy against democracy.”

Eduardo Galeano

Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.

Romans 15:7 NLT

Plains of Kansas…

The Wondering Eagle was a witness last night to a highly scripted theological hijacking that is taking place at McLean Bible Church. The exodus has begun as Calvinism is basically a virus that has started to destroy McLean Bible. For those caught up in McLean Bible or for those who are in the process of leaving I am more than willing to let you write up any posts that allow you to express your anger, reservation or contempt about how Lon Solomon is being forced out. As members of McLean Bible become refugees I want them to know that this blog exists for them, and they are free to write whatever they would like and I will be happy to give them a platform. Some people are going to be devastated that Dale Sutherland is helping to pull off a coup. Lon Solomon deserves better than what is transpiring. If you want to write a post, contact me at wonderingeagle261@gmail.com. You can also write open letters to Lon Solomon thanking him for his service or open letters to the Elder Board. Letters or posts can also be anonymous.

  1. Don’t even know how to express my appreciation to Lon…wish I had adequate words. In my two decades at McLean I grew under his sound Biblical teaching. I took for granted that I would always be able to come and hear deep things of the Lord from our pastor friend. And that was he seemed to be to all of us…a dearly beloved friend. So glad the Lord used him so richly. So What? So thankful to Jesus for Lon’s faithfulness.
