Annie is a musical by Charles Strouse and is based on an old comic strip called Little Orphan Annie. Its about a young orphan living during the Great Depression in New York City. Andrea McArdle originated the title role in 1977. Its had multiple revivals and films. Its best known song is Tomorrow. I hope you have a good Labor Day weekend.
