Some recommended reading that I saw recently on The Friendly Atheist blog. Its a series or Reddit threads that deal with a series of questions from religious people to atheists. I just want to encourage you guys to read these threads, as there is a lot of information and differing perspectives.
“Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful.”
“Men never commit evil so fully and joyfully as when they do it for religious convictions.”
I have been meaning to get this up for the past 2 weeks but I have been traveling in Kansas and didn’t have the means to get this posted. One of the atheist blogs that I like to read is Hemant Mehta’s The Friendly Atheist. Early in May he featured some Reddit threads on atheism. While they are on a wide spectrum of topics, they mainly deal with questions religious people have for atheists. You can read this Friendly Atheist post here, and follow the threads. I have a few more atheist posts in the works that will be published soon. But I enjoyed reading many of these Reddit threads. Take care guys!
