Running a guest post from another blogger who has written some good material about a wide range of topics. The Terebinth Tree has been getting some good feedback and being discovered by many people. I want to use this platform to give him a boost. Today’s post asks the question…do you really want a miracle?
“Miracles happen everyday, change your perception of what a miracle is and you’ll see them all around you. “
Jon Bon Jovi
One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon. 2 Now a man who was lame from birthwas being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts. 3 When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. 4 Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” 5 So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.
6 Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” 7 Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. 8 He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. 9 When all the people saw him walking and praising God, 10 they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
Acts 3:1-10 NIV
This is something that I have wanted to do for a few weeks. I want to draw attention to a neat blog that I think many people here will enjoy reading. I have known this individual for about 7 to 8 years now. He started writing The Terebinth Tree after reading some of the material I am putting out. His blog has been doing well, and attracting a lot of new visitors, but I want to give him a boost and expose him to more people. Having said that I will introduce you to one of his posts which I am going to feature today. Its called “Are you sure you want a miracle.” He has a lot of other good posts and you can poke around on his blog and read more. That its guys, please know that I love you!
May 1, 2017 Update
The writer of Terebinth Tree told me that he is going to stop writing. I hope he will reconsider one day as he did a great job. But as he is shutting down his blog he asked me to take down his post. So I am honoring his request.
