The Spring edition of EFCA Today is up and it is a good read. It deals with medical issues in the context of the church. From dealing with a medical crisis, to depression, to long term care giving challenges and more.
“Liberty is to the collective body, what health is to every individual body. Without health no pleasure can be tasted by man; without liberty, no happiness can be enjoyed by society.”
Henry St. John
Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.
3 John 1:2 NIV
The Evangelical Free Church of America published their Spring EFCA Today for 2017. I would highly recommend reading this edition as it has a lot of good articles in it. In the near future I plan to use a couple of articles for discussion here. The Spring edition of EFCA Today deals with health and medical situations within the context of the church. From a medical crisis being faced in a congregation, to the challenges of long term care, to depression and more. The magazine opens up with the following:
What happens at your church when cancer comes calling? When infertility threatens to drown out God’s voice? When the daily grind of caregiving dampens the spirit?
You can read the magazine here. This is a brief post as I felt that this issue of the EFCA Today should be highlighted. It is my hope that the EFCA catalogs and organizes these online so that in the future editions like this can still be accessed. That would be a good thing for the EFCA, and helpful for those in medical crisis. Again I love you guys.
