The musical Rent is from Jonathan Larson. This popular musical is about a group of impoverished young artists trying to survive and create a life in New York’s East Village. This takes place while the AIDS epidemic is ongoing. This musical has been hugely popular and made into a movie. Fans of Rent are known as “Rent-Heads.” Two songs I would recommend are “Seasons of Love” and “One Song Glory.” Have a great weekend!
